Select winemakers from around the world come together to collaborate with The Resort at Longboat Key Club at the 9th Annual Celebration of Food and Wine which will dazzle your eyes and thrill your palate. Eat, drink, and be merry for a good cause! A portion of the proceeds benefits The University of South Florida Sarasota-Manatee, College of Hospitality and Tourism Leadership.

  • Bollinger and Bond
    • Wednesday, November 6 at the Island House Lanai |  6:30pm 
    • Come and help kick off the 2019 Bacchus festivities by attending a reception of Champagne Bollinger and James Bond. Attendees will enjoy light Hors d'oeuvres while sipping Bollinger Bubbly and Martinis–shaken not stirred. Guests can mingle, play a hand of Baccarat or watch a Bond flick on the big screen. Wind down your evening and kick off this year’s events in style.

  • Pacific Northwest Salmon Bake
    • Thursday, November 7  the Longboat Key Club Beach  | 5:30pm Reception/ 6:00pm Dinner
    • Take in the sunset. Dig your feet in the sand, and enjoy wines from various producers from the Oregon wine scene while watching fresh salmon roast over alder wood coals. Master Sommelier, Michael Jordan will be your guide down the Oregon Trail, with pairings and tastings throughout the evening.

  • California Harvest with Chappellet Winery
    • Thursday, November 7 at the Harbourside Ballroom Lawn | 7:00pm Reception/ 7:45pm Dinner
    • Indulge your passion for great California wines, with one of the most iconic producers of the Napa Valley. Let yourself fall into the romance between Chappellet’s winemaking and the exceptional terroir of Napa Valley’s Pritchard Hill. Share in a chef-inspired dinner showcasing Chappellet’s single-vineyard wines and of course a side-by-side tasting of their world-renowned Cabernets.

  • Lunch Santa Barbara Style
    • ​Friday, November 8 Under the Oaks | 1:00pm
    • Join Author and Chef Tracey Shepos Cenami, as she hosts and creates a sensational menu and pairs them with her favorite Santa Barbara wines. Tracy sharing her passion and knowledge for food and wine is set against the backdrop of a wonderful fall afternoon filled with music, great food, wine, and better company.  
    • $85 inclusive per person 
  • Stone Crab Celebration & Winemaker Auction
    • Friday, November 8 at the Longboat Key Club Beach | 5:30pm
    • A celebration of Food and Wine that will dazzle your eyes and thrill your palate. Winemakers and Vendors will fill the perimeter of the tent sampling hundreds of bottles of wine and spirits alike. Longboat Key Club chefs will provide different tasting stations to fill your appetite, and the centerpiece of the tent will be filled with mounds of iced, stone crab claws. Enjoy music, dancing and a live auction hosted by Master Sommelier, Michael Jordan from Jackson Family Estates.
