Sarasota Junior Tennis Camp

WHEN:  June-August, Monday-Friday, 1/2 Day & Full- Day Sessions
WHERE:  Tennis Gardens at Longboat Key Club

The Resort at Longboat Key Club 7th Annual Junior Tennis Camp will be hosted at The Tennis Gardens. The Junior Tennis Camp has been established for children ages 8-17 who have a desire to improve their overall tennis abilities in a fun and challenging environment. The tennis camp will focus on all aspects of the game. Fundamentals, modern technique, tennis psychology, score keeping, game playing, tennis strategy, footwork and conditioning are just a few topics we will cover throughout the week.

Our Professional Staff led by Briana Harris François, will stress the importance of teamwork, good sportsmanship, fair play, work ethic and positive attitudes. In the afternoons, players will get to compete throughout the week in a “Davis Cup” competition, where they will play singles and doubles in order to gain match play experience. At the completion of camp each student will receive a written review of their stroke mechanics and overall progress. Space is limited, so make plans to join us now for a memorable summer.

Sarasota Summer Sports Camp

The Resort at Longboat Key Club Summer Sports Camp is back for its sixth year. The camp has been established for children ages 4-12 who are looking for a summer of fun-filled activities. Located at the beautiful Resort at Longboat Key Club, your child is guaranteed to have non-stop fun in the sun. The Sports Camp will introduce each child to the basics of tennis, golf, soccer, baseball and more. In addition to daily tennis and golf lessons from our certified staff, the campers will also be introduced to the importance of teamwork, good sportsmanship, fair play and postitive attitudes.
