Golf is just the thing for team-building, and the friendly staff at The Resort at Longboat Key Club makes sure golf events are fun for everyone involved – whether they’re low handicappers or outright beginners.

With 45 holes of championship golf, Longboat Key Club can accommodate any type tournament or event you desire. From all-inclusive scrambles to Stableford competitions for more skilled players, Best Ball play and everything in between, our experienced staff of professionals will work with you to create an event that your entire group will enjoy.

Starting options include single tee, double tee and custom starts, depending on the size of your group. Again, the staff will make recommendations.

Clinics for Beginners:
Fun is foremost at group events, and to make sure everyone has a good time, we offer clinics for beginners. Novices about to play in a “tournament” will enjoy a relaxed introduction to the basics of play and course etiquette.

Meeting Breaks with the Pros:
Our pros can host one- or two-hour clinics with demonstrations of fundamentals, insights for increasing distance and accuracy on full shots, better bunker play, plus putting and chipping techniques, and drills used by top professionals.
