Longboat Key Club and Resort Receives 25th Consecutive AAA Four Diamond Award®

[Longboat Key, FL – January 28, 2008] The Longboat Key Club and Resort has been awarded the prestigious AAA Four Diamond rating for its 25th consecutive year. The fundamental hallmarks at this level include an extensive array of amenities combined with a high degree of hospitality, service, and attention to detail. The Longboat Key Club and Resort is the only beachfront AAA Four Diamond accommodation in the Sarasota area.

Just 3.6 percent of the more than 32,000 AAA Rated lodgings were awarded the prestigious AAA Four Diamond designation for 2008. It is the only ratings system that uses full-time, professionally trained evaluators to inspect each property on an annual basis using a set of guidelines that are made available to all establishments.

In 2007, The Longboat Key Club and Resort completed a $6.5 million renovation to all of its 218 luxurious rooms and suites and acquired a 291-slip, deepwater marina.
