Can we hold our wedding ceremony on the beach?
Absolutely! As a AAA Four-Diamond beachfront resort just off the coast of Sarasota, we have two beautiful private beach locations for your wedding ceremony. A charming boardwalk leads your guests and processional over the dunes to petal-lined white carpet for your position at the “altar,” or under a chuppah, just steps from the sparkling waters of the Gulf of Mexico. With the sun setting directly over the Gulf, we will choreograph the ceremony to allow time for those breathtaking photographs of just the two of you. We will assist you through the entire planning, including references for officiants, music and special décor.
Do you have any location other than the beach for our ceremony?
Yes! We have a magnificent location “under the oak trees” at our Island House location, or a plush lawn area overlooking our Marina at our Harbourside location, and several areas over looking the Marina at our Moorings location on the Bay. Inside locations are also available.
Do you have a wedding package?
Of course! Many brides are busy and do not have the time to plan their weddings, especially from afar. Our wedding package is designed to provide you witheverything you need to make it as easy and as stress free as possible.
Please click on “wedding package” on our website to view. We afford you flexibility with the package and can tailor it to your specific tastes and budget. We will gladly custom-design a menu for you if you prefer a buffet style or themed menu.
I’ve never planned a wedding before, do I need to hire a wedding planner?
Our experienced wedding professionals will plan every detail with you and oversee every event you have here at the Resort. We will act as your personal wedding planner through the entire process at no extra charge – this is our wedding gift to you! If you wish to have an independent wedding planner we will be happy to work closely with them to insure your wedding is perfect.
Can I have all my wedding functions at your resort?
Definitely! We have several locations to accommodate your pre and post wedding festivities. A casual barbeque by the pool overlooking the Gulf with live Caribbean style music is perfect for the rehearsal dinner. Our John Ringling room is conveniently located in the main Resort for your post wedding brunch for departing guests, and our five unique restaurants are available for smaller gatherings. The Resort is large enough to vary the location of each and every one of your events.
What number of guests you can accommodate?
Our banquet rooms accommodate up to 350 guests for reception style wedding or 250 for a seated dinner. A tent can be provided on many of our beautiful grounds to accommodate up to 2,000 guests. We also have smaller rooms to accommodate smaller, intimate weddings of 40 less.
Do you allow outside caterers?
Our talented team of Chefs can provide any type cuisine you’d like! Food and beverage is not allowed to be brought in to the resort with the exception of wedding cakes.
Do you have special children’s meals?
Of course! We are a very family friendly Resort and have special pricing for children 11 years and under. Our Kids Klub offers activities for ages 5 through 12, and a nanny service is also available if needed.
What will my wedding cost?
We will be happy to work within your specific budget, but generally, depending on the date and time of your wedding, plan on budgeting $125 - $175+ per person for a Saturday evening reception. Special offers are available for weddings held on Sunday through Thursday evenings, and in the summer months of July through September. Ceremony costs are additional. Please contact us and we will be happy to go over all your options and work with your specific budget.
Can you recommend décor and music?
We will provide you a list of trusted and recommended florists, musicians, and décor specialists to provide anything you may need and will coordinate arrival and setup times.
Can we reserve hotel accommodations for our guests?
Absolutely! It is our pleasure to provide special group wedding rates for your family and guests. Elegantly appointed suite accommodations feature a kitchen, washer/dryer, private balcony and twice daily housekeeping. On-site amenities include five restaurants, championship golf, 18 tennis courts, Island House Spa, fitness center, marina, year-round Kids Klub and miles of white sand beach.
